Kinetical light-installation
4m x 30m x 3m
Halogen light bulbs, cable, fabrics, wood, plastic object

In the front windows of a former light shop this installation had two different sights: During the day hours the closed curtains were raising expectations about what will come: Around twilight shade plants started to rise, expand and shrink. This process would occur during the whole night, surprising the passers-by. During the finissage a performance took place: the silhouette of a conductor tried to influence the rhythm of the shadows. Finally all shadows vanished at once. The title refers to the biological term of solanaceous, poisonous herbs.

This project was made possible by the kindly support of The Netherlands Foundation for Visual Arts, Design and Architecture, Gemeente Arnhem and the GBK.
